"I love being a therapist. I'm continually in awe of the resiliency and determination clients demonstrate to feel more comfortable in their own skin. I'm honored to be part of the process."

A Portland native, I had the fortunate opportunity of obtaining my foundational training in the heart of Oakland, California. Oakland is perhaps the most diverse city in the world with no ethnic majority. I have enjoyed working with clients from many ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups on issues of intimacy, stress reduction, power struggles, financial concerns, self-worth, and anything that is causing upset. I help people become more comfortable with the unknown. I have experience with brief therapy focusing on solutions to specific issues. I also see clients for a year or more working toward living life more fully and experiencing more joy. I am active in the local and national counseling community and stay current in the field. I recently served as President of the Oregon Mental Health Counselor's Association.
